| Requirements: | NEEDED FOR CLASS: pattern, fabrics as called for in the pattern, marking pencil. You will also need to bring your sewing machine, ¼” foot, thread, rotary cutter & mat, ruler, a square up ruler & pins. Be sure to bring an extra needle for your machine & a fresh blade for your rotary cutter, just in case you need it. If you have a pressing mat and iron, it will be helpful to bring those, as well. The store only has 2 irons and it will go very slow if everyone needs to use those. It is always a good idea to read through the pattern before starting any project. HOMEWORK TO BE DONE BEFORE CLASS: 1. Mark 40 background squares with a diagonal line, corner to corner as the pattern states. Sewing & cutting will be done in class. 2. Cut fabrics for the INNER BORDER & mark the 2&3/8” squares with a diagonal line. |
